Overnight rain forced the cancellation of Tuesday's second round of the St. Mary's Invitational at The Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, Texas.
The start time for the second round was originally pushed back from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. because of the after-effects of the rain, but after further review, the course was deemed unsuitable for play.
UAFS finished ninth in the 18-team invitational, shooting a 32-over par 320 during Monday's first round. The Lady Lions finished 21 strokes behind co-champions Northeastern State and St. Mary's, who each shot an 11-over 299.
St. Edward's was third (304) followed by Tarleton State (305), West Texas A&M (308), Midwestern State (309), CSU-Chico State (313), Regis (316), UAFS (320) Southwestern Oklahoma State (323), CSU-East Bay (324), Angelo State (325), Oklahoma Christian (327), Cameron (329), Lubbock Christian (335), Western New Mexico (337), Texas A&M International (353) and Hawaii-Hilo (364).

th. Sophomore
Claire Rose Latta and junior
Olivia Gibbs each shot an 8-over 80 and finished tied for 42
nd, junior
Deana Portillo shot an 11-over 83 and finished tied for 57
th, junior
Julia Dierker shot a 21-over 93 and finished tied for 93
rd.
St. Mary's Paige Weiss won the invitational with a 2-under 70, edging runner-up Ueakarn Look Yee Songprasert of West Texas A&M by one stroke.
