DESTIN, Fla. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Women's Golf finished eighth Tuesday at the Emerald Coast Classic with an 894 (+42).
The Lions shot rounds of 301-292-301, with the second round 292 the fourth lowest of the day. UAFS finished second with 178 total pars and was fourth in par-4 scoring.
Aliesa Situmorang led the Lions as she tied for 15th with a 218 (+5). She had a team-high 39 pars to go with five birdies as she shot rounds of 73-71-74.
Lauren Evans finished 26th with a 223 (+10) as she paced the Lions with six bridies and tied for the tournament lead in par-3 scoring at -2. Evans totaled rounds of 76-71-76.
Ali Perry tied for 37th with a 227 (+14) while Kaitlyn Canales tied for 47th with a 229 (+16). Perry tied Situmorang with 39 pars while carding rounds of 75-79-73. Canales finished with rounds of 77-74-78.
Paris Dufresne rounded out the lineup with a 235 (+22) to tie for 67th with rounds of 79-76-80.
Up next UAFS will host the Hardscrabble Invitational at Hardscrabble Country Club March 23-24.
