FORT SMITH, Ark. – Women's golfer Aliesa Situmorang has been selected as the Lion Pride Award winner for Female Athlete of the Year.
Situmorang paced the Lions with a 76.5 average this season with a pair of top-five finishes to lead the Lions back to the NCAA II Central Regional. She started the season with a 143 (+1) to win the NSU Invitational. She followed that effort with a 147 (+5) to tie for fourth at the Jewel Invitational.
Situmorang has a low round of 71 (E) twice over 29 rounds this season.
She was named to the All-MIAA Second Team and earned her third top 10 with an eighth-place finish at the MIAA Championships with a 228 (+18) as the Lions placed fifth as a team.
