FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Golf will make back-to-back appearances in the NCAA II Central/Midwest Regional when the Lions compete at Katke Golf Club in Big Rapids, Michigan, from May 7-9.

At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 18–22 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven. The finals will be hosted by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

Sam Sewell paces the Lions with a 73.2 scoring average and earned All-MIAA honors. He has three top fives and won the NSU Classic in the fall with a 202 (-11). Sewell has four of the six lowest rounds by a Lion this season with a low of 66 (-5). He has 14 rounds of par or better.

Braylon Mahanay and Murphy Allard are next with 74.4 and 74.9 scoring averages, respectively, with Allard having one top 10. Each have seven rounds of par or better. Mahany has a low round of 67 (-4) and Allard 68 (-3).

Chandler Cooke heads into the event with a 75.5 scoring average after leading the Lions at the MIAA Championships with a seventh-place finish.
