KANSAS CITY - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Golfer Sam Sewell was announced to the All-MIAA Team, as the association announced its postseason honors Monday.
Sewell was one of 15 All-MIAA golfers this season. He finished ninth in the MIAA designated event standings with 19 points to earn the honor.
Sewell leads the Lions this season with three top fives and a 73.2 scoring average. He carded his lowest two rounds of the season with a 66 (-5) and 67 (-4) as he won the NSU Classic in September with a 202 (-11).
In the season-opening tournament, Sewell tied for second at The Mule with a 208 (-2). He then earned a tie for fifth at the Tulsa Cup with a 211 (-5). He completed his fourth tournament under par at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic, shooting a 210 (-6) to tie for 16th.
Overall, Sewell has 14 rounds under par this season.
