MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Golf wrapped up play Tuesday at the Missouri Southern State Fall Invitational, where the Lions finished 12th in the 54-hole event.
The Lions carded a three-round total of 911 (+47), finishing with rounds of 308-308-295. They had 139 pars, 36 birdies and one eagle.
Braylon Mahanay led the Lions with a tie for 24th with a 225 (+9), as he recorded rounds of 75-77-73. Mahanay tied with Sam Sewell to lead the Lions with nine birdies.
Preston Green led the Lions after the first two rounds and totaled a 229 (+13) to tie for 42nd. Green recorded the lone eagle for the Lions in round one as he carded rounds of 75-76-72. He also led UAFS with 33 pars.
Sewell tied for 46th with a 230 (+14) after rounds of 84-76-70. He recorded five of his nine birdies in the final round. Murphy Allard tied for 50th with a 231 (+15) and finished in the top 10 in par-3 scoring. Allard had rounds of 78-79-74 and totaled eight birdies.
JD Frederiksen completed the lineup and finished with a 242 (+26) with rounds of 80-81-81.
UAFS wraps up its fall schedule October 27-28 at the Tulsa Cup at Indian Hills Golf Club.
