FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Basketball plays host to another pair of Lone Star Conference East Division opponents this week as the Lions host St. Mary's and division leader St. Edward's.
UAFS and St. Mary's will tip off at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and at 3 p.m. Saturday. Both games will be streamed on the Lone Star Conference Digital Network as well as broadcast on Fox Sports Radio 103.5. Live stats will also be available at uafslions.com.

LAST WEEK: The Lions went 1-1 last week after falling at Texas A&M-Kingsville before defeating Texas A&M International.
0: UAFS did not allow a made three pointer in the win over the Dustdevils. It was the second time in program history that the Lions did not allow a made three.
42: The 42 points is the third fewest points allowed against a NCAA II opponent. UAFS allowed just 38 against UT Permian Basin in 2010 and 40 against Northeastern State in 2014.
AROUND THE LEAGUE: Guard Payton Brown is second in the LSC in scoring at 18.7 points per game. Brown is also second in 3-point field goal percentage (31.7) and first in made threes per game (2.6). Guards Evan Anderson and Cameron Bush are tied for ninth with 3.1 assists per game while Anderson is second in assist/turnover ratio (2.2).
RECORD WATCH: Anderson ranks seventh with 125 made threes, third with 278 assists and 10th with 69 steals. Brown ranks 10th with 78 made threes.
THE SERIES: UAFS is 16-11 against St. Mary's and 15-12 versus St. Edward's.
SCOUTING STMU: St. Mary's has lost four in a row and is 6-7, 3-5 LSC. The Rattlers are second in the league in assists, third in assist/turnover ratio and first in offensive rebounds. Forward Tyler Caron paces the Rattlers with 15.3 points per game while guard Caleb Jordan averages 13.3.
SCOUTING SEU: St. Edward's leads the LSC East Division at 12-5, 6-2 LSC and is second in the league in scoring at 78.8 points per game. SEU leads the league in free throw percentage (81.8), assists (17.2), assist/turnover ratio (1.51) and blocks (4.5) per game. Guard Jeff Gary leads four players averaging double figures with 13.7 points per game.
