FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's and Women's Basketball placed five on the College Sports Communicator's Academic All-District Teams, announced by the organization this week.

This award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

To be eligible for this award, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA and play in either 90 percent of games or start 66 percent of games.

Representing UAFS Women's Basketball were Marie Rose Priscilla Wemba and Jah'Mareah Linville and representing UAFS Men's Basketball were Donovan Black, Jarren McAllister and Brandon Scott.
