Bloxham, Green earn GCAA Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors

NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America announced its 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars this week, with Preston Green and Alex Bloxham representing University of Arkansas – Fort Smith.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

207 NCAA Division II athletes from 78 schools earned 2024-25 Cobalt All-America Scholar honors.

Bloxham played in all 12 events, posting a 74.61 scoring average – the third best on the team. He had a low round of 66 with eight rounds of par or better.

Green posted an average of 75.37 strokes in 11 events with a low round of 68 and four rounds under par.
