BOULDER CITY, Nev. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Golf is tied for 16th with a 599 (+23) after the second round concluded Wednesday at the NCAA II Women's Golf Championships at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The Lions shot a 297 (+9 in the second round with 11 birdies and an eagle.
Aliesa Situmorang and Ali Perry are tied atop the UAFS lineup with 148s (+4), sitting in a tie for 52nd. Perry tallied four birdies on the day to shoot a 71 (-1) while Situmorang carded an eagle on the 16th hole to shoot a 73 (+1).
Lauren Evans and Kenley McElyea each shot 78 (+6) in round two, with Evans now tied for 67th with a 150 (+6) while McElyea is 89th with a 156 (+12).
Maddie Sanders subbed into the UAFS lineup and carded a 75 (+3) with three birdies.
UAFS will tee off at 9:30 a.m. central Thursday for round three.
