HOUSTON - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Golf finished ninth at the Houston Classic after the final round was canceled due to weather.

Through two rounds, the Lions carded a 602 (+26) with rounds of 307 and 295. They recorded 22 birdies and were fifth in par-3 scoring.

Jeremy Tandoy, Alex Bloxham and Chandler Cooke all tied for 32^nd with a 150 (+6) to lead the Lions. Tandoy finished with five total birdies, and tallied rounds of 77-73, while Bloxham shot even par 72 in round to with a first round 78. Bloxham led the Lions with 24 pars.

Cooke tallied a team-high six birdies – including four in round one – as he fired off consecutive rounds of 75 (+3).

Preston Green tied for 52^nd with a 152 (+8) while JD Frederiksen tied for 87^th with a 165 (+21). Green carded rounds of 77-75 with two birdies each.
