PITTSBURG, Kan. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Men's Cross Country battled rainy and muddy course conditions as the Lions finished 12th at the MIAA Championships Saturday.
The Lions totals 341 points in the 8k event.
Evan Smith paced the Lions with a time of 27:18.87 followed by Conner Valentine in 27:51.16. Angel Cordero was the third Lion to finish in a time of 28:01.03.
Isaac Teague and Joaquin Alva ran back-to-back to complete the top five for the Lions, finishing in 28:16.36 and 28:20.11, respectively. Adan Castillo and Troy Ferguson rounded out the scoring by finishing in 28:39.12 and 29:00.67.
UAFS concludes the season November 8 at the NCAA II Central Regional in Joplin, Missouri.
