WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Chander Cooke picked up right where he left off after a stellar freshman campaign, leading University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Golf at The Mule at Mules National Golf Club Tuesday.
Cooke finished tied for 11th, carding a three-round total 213 (+3). He shot a one-under 69 in the opening round before finishing with a pair of 72s. He had four birdies in round two and finished with 10 for the tournament.
Jeremy Tandoy finished just two strokes behind Cooke with a 215 (+5), finishing in a tie for 14th. Tandoy had his best round in round two, carding an even-par 70. He recorded a 73 (+3) in round one and a 72 (+2) in round three. Tandoy finished with a team-high 12 birdies.
Completing the lineup for the Lions was Preston Green in a tie for 76th with a 229 (+19), JD Frederiksen in a tie for 90th with a 234 (+24) and Alex Bloxham finished in a tie for 92nd with a 235 (+25).
UAFS placed 12th in the tournament, carding an 886 (+46). UAFS had rounds of 294-298-294.
