TOPEKA, Kan. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Golf wrapped up play at the Washburn Invitational Tuesday with a tie ninth at Topeka Country Club.

UAFS finished with a 54-hole total of 888 (+36) with rounds of 292-298-298. The Lions were fourth in par-5 scoring average, shooting 12-under with a 4.73. The Lions also ranked tied for third with 40 birdies.

Jeremy Tandoy and Chandler Cooke each tied for 19^th to lead the Lions, finishing with 218s (+5). Tandoy was even par after two rounds of 70 (-1) and 72 (+1) before carding a final round 76. Cooke shot 73-75 in rounds one and two before closing with a 70 in round three.

Tandoy led UAFS with 11 birdies and was five-under on par-5s while Cooke tallied nine birdies.

Playing as an individual, JD Frederiksen placed 41^st with a 223 (+10) after rounds of 73-72-76.  

Preston Green finished tied for 65^th, Alex Bloxham finished 69^th and Christopher Taylor tied for 70^th to round out the UAFS lineup. Frederiksen, Bloxham and Green all finished with seven birdies each while Taylor tallied six.

UAFS closes out the fall October 28-29 at the Tulsa Cup at Indian Springs Golf Club in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
