FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Women's Basketball has added in-state NCAA I transfer Takaylan Busby, who joins the Lions from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
"TK brings length and athleticism to our wing position, which will be a great balance for our group," McAdams said. "She is a dynamic defender and can provide scoring, as well. Her genuine energy during the recruitment process showed us how great of a fit she will be in our locker room. We are excited to have TK coming aboard!"
Busby, a 5-foot-10 guard, appeared in 57 games over three seasons at UAPB, totaling 151 points, 89 rebounds, 35 assists and 35 steals.
She had her best year in 2021-22, averaging 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 21.6 minutes per game. She scored a career-high 20 points to go with eight rebounds in a win at Mississippi Valley State.
