FORT SMITH, Ark. – Golfers Sidney Stramel and Andrew Fakult have been selected as this week's UAFS Athletes of the Week.

Stramel finished third at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational, earning her second top-five finish of the season. She fired a two-under 69 in round one with three birdies then finished round two with a 73 (+2) to finish at even-par 142. Stramel was one of two players to shoot under par on par-3s and had a tournament-high 30 pars.

Stramel helped lead UAFS to a second-place finish in the 16-team field as the Lions recorded the second lowest round in round two with a 287 (+3).

Fakult recorded his first top five of the year by finishing in a four-way tie for fourth at the Hardscrabble Invitational. He carded a three-round total of 217 (+7), with a low score of 70 (-1) in round two. He had a team-high 11 birdies and was four-under on par-5s, with the 11 birdies tying for the second most in the tournament.
