EDMOND, Okla. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Golf posted an impressive second-place finish at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational Tuesday at Lincoln Park Golf Course.

Sidney Stramel led the effort with a third-place finish, her second top five of the year. She fired a two-under 69 in round one with three birdies then finished round two with a 73 (+2) to finish at even-par 142. Stramel was one of two players to shoot under par on par-3s and had a tournament-high 30 pars.

Rachel Hicks and Marvelyn Kartika tied for 17^th with 148s (+6), with both players improving upon their round one scores in round two. Hicks shot 77-71 while Kartika carded rounds of 76-72. Hicks led the Lions with six birdies while Kartika had five.

Sydney Williams bounced back from a first-round 80 to shoot even-par 71 in round two to finish tied for 25^th with a 151 (+9). Her second round included two birdies and an eagle on the par-5 15^th. Williams was six-under on par-5s for the tournament and finished with five birdies.

Simone Campise rounded out the lineup for the Lions finishing in a tie for 31^st. She carded four birdies in the final round as she shot 78-74 for a 152 (+10).

Maisie Liddell, Jenna Triplett and Kaitlin Canales all competed as individuals, finishing tied for 41^st, tied for 68^th and tied for 76^th, respectively.

The Lions charged from fourth after round one to card the second lowest round in round two with a 287 (+3) to finish with a 587 (+19).
