BULLARD, Texas - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Golf posted its lowest round of the season Tuesday with a 281 (-3) in the final round of the King-Alfred Invitational at Eagle's Bluff Country Club.

The 281 bests the previous season low of 293 and was the second lowest round in the tournament.

UAFS would go on to finish sixth in the event with a three-round total of 893 (+41). Prior to the 281, the Lions recorded rounds of 307 and 305.

Ryan Bell led the way for the Lions by earning a top-10 with a sixth-place finish, shooting a 218 (+5). Bell carded a one-under 70 in the final round with four birdies. He shot 75-73 in rounds one and two, respectively. He was five-under on par-5s and led the Lions with 10 birdies.

Jeremy Tandoy finished just outside the top 10 in a tie for 12^th, tallying a 221 (+8). Tandoy was four-under par in round three until a triple bogey on his second to last hole, but he still finished the round with a one-under 70. He shot 78-73 in rounds one and two and led the Lions with 33 pars while shooting three under on par-5s.

Andrew Fakult matched Tandoy with 33 pars en route to a tie for 19^th with a 224 (+11). Fakult recorded the lone eagle for the Lions on the par-4 14^th hole as he carded a 69 (-2) in round three. He shot 77-78 in rounds one and two.

Preston Green tied for 32^nd with a 232 (+19) while Jaden Chavez tied for 44^th with a 245 (+32). Both carded their best rounds in the finale with scores of 72 and 74, respectively.

Conner Guthrie rounded out the six-man lineup for the Lions by placing 52^nd with a 255 (+42).

The Lions have one final tune-up before the Lone Star Conference Championships with the RJGA Palm Valley Classic April 3-4 at Palm Valley Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona.
