FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Men's Basketball has announced its summer camp dates, hosting three camps this summer. UAFS will host a team camp, an individual camp and an elite camp.
The kid's camp and individual camp run from July 25-28, with grades K-3 from 9-11:30 a.m. each day and grades 4-9 from 1-4 p.m. Cost for both camps is $85. The kids camp focuses on skill development and shooting form while the individual camp will focus on individual instruction, ball handling, moving without the ball, 5-on-5 play, and a 3-on-3 tournament. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt and basketball.
The Elite Camp, scheduled for August 5th from noon to 5 p.m., is an advanced camp designed for players who aspire to play at the collegiate level. Cost of the camp is $75 and is open to players in grades 9-12. This camp includes intense individual instruction, game breakdown, 5-on-5 play, motivational materials and a recruiting session.
The dates for the team camp are June 13-14, which includes a six-game minimum for the full camp with certified officials. For more information on all three camps, please contact assistant coach Jimmy Boone at 662-588-0353 or jimmy.boone@uafs.edu.
All camps will be conducted by the UAFS coaching staff and players with all campers receiving a camp t-shirt. The kid's campers and individual campers will also receive a camp basketball.
