FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Basketball looks to extend its four-game winning streak this week as it opens Lone Star Conference play at West Texas A&M and Lubbock Christian.
The Lions and Buffs will tip at 7:30 p.m. Thursday while the Lions will face the Chaps at 3 p.m. Saturday. Both games will be streamed on the Lone Star Conference Digital Network with live stats available at uafslions.com.

LAST TIME OUT: UAFS won both its games in the Thanksgiving Classic, defeating Harding and Ouachita Baptist.
LEAGUE LEADERS: Guard Payton Brown leads the LSC in scoring at 21.8 points per game. Guard Cameron Bush leads the league with a 3.6 assist/turnover ratio.
HELPING HANDS: Both guard Cameron Bush and guard Evan Anderson rank in the top 10 in the LSC in assists. Anderson is sixth with 3.3 dimes per game while Bush is eighth with 3.0 per game.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Guard Payton Brown was named the LSC Offensive Player of the Week after averaging 27.5 points per game last week. Brown scored a career-high 39 points on 13-of-19 shooting in a win over Ouachita Baptist and scored 16 points in a win over Harding.
LEAGUE OPENER: UAFS will face West Texas A&M for the second straight year to open league play. The Lions defeated the then No. 3 Buffs last season, 75-69 at the Stubblefield Center. UAFS is 6-7 in conference openers.
RECORD WATCH: Guard Evan Anderson ranks fifth with 251 career assists. He also ranks seventh with 113 made threes.
THE SERIES: UAFS is 1-2 against West Texas A&M and 5-10 versus Lubbock Christian.
