AMARILLO, Texas – Jeremy Tandoy finished in a tie for 25th as he led the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith men's golf team Tuesday at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational at Amarillo Country Club.
Tandoy was in the top 10 after round one after carding a one-under 69. He then proceeded to shoot rounds of 72 and 71 in rounds two and three to finish with a three-round total of 212 (+2). Tandoy led all players in par-3 scoring at two under and had a team-high 12 birdies.
Andrew Fakult tied for 74th while both Case Englehart and Jaden Chavez each tied for 78th. Fakult had six birdies with Chavez and Englehart each tallying five.
Fakult had his best round in round two with a 72 and had a 74 in round one and 78 in round three. He finished with a 224 (+14). Chavez and Englehart each shot a 225 (+15). Englehart had rounds of 75, 74 and 76 while Chavez had rounds of 74, 74 and 77.
Conner Guthrie shot a 237 (+27) to place 90th.
UAFS placed 15th as a team with an 886 (+46). The Lions had scores of 292, 292 and 302.
