FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Men's Basketball will make the return trip to Oklahoma Christian for its only game this week, tipping off at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in a nonconference matchup.

NOTES:
LAST TIME OUT: UAFS won a pair of road games, defeating Texas A&M-Kingsville, 63-60, and Texas A&M International, 79-73, in overtime.
LEAGUE LEADER: Guard Matthew Wilson continues to lead the Lone Star Conference in scoring at 20.4 points per game. He is the only player in the league averaging more than 20 points per game and leads the league with 3.3 made threes per game and is third at 41.7 percent from beyond the arc.
HELPING HAND: Guard Evan Anderson is third in the LSC with 5.0 assists per game and is second in the league in assist/turnover ratio at 3.3, which is 13th nationally. UAFS is second with a 1.33 ratio.
GAME WINNER: Guard Matthew Wilson drained his second game-winning shot of the year with eight seconds left against the TAMUK. His first came at the buzzer in overtime against Henderson State.
CLOSING STRONG: The Lions closed Thursday's win over Texas A&M-Kingsvilelon a 10-0 run over the final 1:46 of game time and rallied from down five in the final 40 seconds.
OVERTIME: UAFS went to overtime for the second time this season in the in over Texas A&M International. The Lions improved to 2-0 in OT games on the year.
PACK LINE DEFENSE: UAFS is second in the league and seventh nationally in allowing just 62.4 points per game. Opponents are shooting 40.7 percent against the Lions, third best in the LSC.
RECORD WATCH: Senior guard Matthew Wilson sits 5th with 1,105 points at UAFS. Wilson also is 5th in field goals made (393) and fourth in three-pointers made (179). Forward Chris Rollins is 7th in rebounds with 411. Guard Evan Anderson is 5th in assists with 219.
THE SERIES: UAFS is 11-9 all-time against the Eagles. However, OC has won the last three matchups.
SCOUTING OC: The Eagles are last in the LSC in scoring at 66.4 points per game and enter the game 6-12, 3-5 LSC. Guard Drew Tennial leads three Eagles averaging double figures with 13.3 points per game. Tennial was held to a single point in the first meeting, but second-leading scorer Moun'tae Edmundson scored a game-high 19 points to defeat the Lions.
