Halley Carr, 5'9 guard and Frisco, Texas native, is coming from the Lone Star High School where she averaged 14 points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists in her senior year of high school. The Lady Lions coaching staff is particularly excited about new signees not only for the on-court production, but also about the character shown off the basketball court, "We are so happy about Halley joining our family and program, she is great kid and student. On the court, Halley is an explosive athlete that has a knack for finding the ball on the offensive board.

Nya comes from a winning program and will bring a versatile skill set to our program!"
UAFS women's basketball team has finished 2019-20 season on an 11-11 conference record, ranking 10th in conference standings. The Lady Lions concluded the season with a
huge 85-84 win over the no. 6 nationally-ranked A&M-Commerce but have suffered the season-ending loss in the first round of the Lone Star Conference tournament
