UAFS Tennis Back On the Road To Face Cameron, Ozarks

Coming off a successful weekend of wins against John Brown last week, the UAFS Lions men's and women's tennis teams have two more matches lined up for the week.They are looking to play Cameron University on Thursday at 2:00 pm in Lawton, Okla. and University of the Ozarks on Saturday at 2:00 pm in Clarksville, Ark. The matches will begin with doubles and then singles will follow up after that.

Both the Lions and Lady Lions are looking to extend their winning streak after easing past John Brown last Thursday. Currently, the Lions are 1-4 on the year and the Lady Lions are 4-3 overall. They will be preparing to face Cameron who is 6-3 for the men and 1-6 for the women. On the other side, the University of the Ozarks is sitting at 3-6 for the men and 3-4 for the women.

The Lions have had a long history with both teams. The Lions are 0-5 in the all-time series against Cameron and will be looking to hand them their first loss of the series. On the other hand, the Lady Lions are 1-3 against the Aggies in the all-time series and are trying to close that gap. When it comes to University of the Ozarks, UAFS has shown to be successful against them. The men are currently 6-0 in the series and the women are 3-0. The last time these two schools met up, both teams swept the Eagles with a 7-0 score.

For this weekend's matches, the lineup will go as followed: Wian Van Dyk will be in line 1, Daniel Borrero will play in line 2, Ethan Eddleman will be in line 3, followed by Nico Retamales in line 4, Zach Delmonico will play in Line 5, and Andrew Anderson will be in line 6. For the Lady Lions, Bianca Koen will play in line 1, Shaun Williams will be in line 2, Joanna Potet will be in line 3, followed by Milena Achlamov in line 4, Chloe Ruppanner will play in line 5, and Petra Csizmadia will be in line 6.

In the individual record, Wian van Dyk lead's the men's team with a 3-1 record and Chloe Ruppanner leads the women's team with a 4-1 record, with Joanna Potet following her with a 3-1 record.
