FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Volleyball has announced its dates for summer camps.

The Lions will host three camps this summer at the Stubblefield Center – a Skills Camp, Little Lions Camp and Elite Camp.

The first scheduled camp is the skills camp, slated for June 1-3 from 4-6 p.m. for boys and girls in grades 6-12. Cost of the camp is $60 per session with $10 off for each additional session registered in the same transaction.

Each session will focus on a specific skill, starting with serving and passing. Day two will focus on hitting and setting with the final session working on blocking and defense.

Next will be the Little Lions camp on June 8-10 from 1-3 p.m. each day. The camp is $70 for boys and girls in grades K-6 and you can save $10 by registering by May 30. The camp will teach the fundamentals of the game and include mini games.

The elite camp will run from June 10-12 and offer campers the opportunity to stay overnight on campus. Cost for the overnight camp is $295 and includes two nights in dorms and four meals while a day camper cost is $245. Campers can save $20 by registering by May 30.

Campers will be taught every volleyball skill, such as serving, passing, hitting, digging and blocking in great detail. Additionally, campers will have the opportunity for 6-on-6 reps focused on teamwork and offensive and defensive systems.

Camps will be led by UAFS Hall of Fame Coach Jane Sargent and the UAFS coaching staff, as well as current players.
