FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball will visit Washburn this weekend for a three-game MIAA series, with the series moved up to Thursday through Saturday due to rain in the forecast.
The Lions and Ichabods will start the series at 4 p.m. Thursday with Friday's game at a time to be determined. The series will conclude Saturday at 1 p.m.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: UAFS lost four games at home, dropping a weekend series against Northwest Missouri State and a midweek game against No. 9 Rogers State.
LONG BALL: Outfielder JJ Young ranks tied for seventh in the MIAA with nine home runs.
ON THE MOUND: Pitcher Colby Morrow is tied for the most pitching appearances in all of NCAA II with 21.
RISP: Utility Connor Earleywine leads the Lions with a .394 batting average with runners in scoring position.
STOLEN GOODS: Earleywine ranks 10th in the MIAA with 13 stolen bases.
SCOUTING WU: The Ichabods are 13-23, 9-13 MIAA and are third in the league in triples. Outfielder Ian Luce is batting .414 with five homers and 35 RBIs to lead the Ichabods while they have a 7.34 team ERA on the mound.
THE SERIES: Washburn leads the all-time series, 3-0, with all three games last season in Fort Smith.
