FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball will wrap up the 2026 regular season this week as the Lions travel to No. 5 Rogers State before hosting Missouri Western.
The Lions will conclude its midweek series with Rogers State at 2 p.m. Wednesday before hosting the Griffons at Crowder Field starting Friday. All three games at Crowder Field are scheduled for 1 p.m.
All four games will be streamed on the MIAA Network with live stats available at uafortsmithlions.com. This weekend's games will also be broadcast on Fox Sports Radio 103.5.
NOTES:
LAST WEEK: The Lions dropped all three games at Central Oklahoma.
ON THE MOUND: Pitcher Colby Morrow leads all of NCAA II with 26 appearances on the mound this season.
ON THE BASES: Utility Connor Earleywine is fifth in the MIAA with 20 stolen bases.
AT THE PLATE: Outfielder JJ Young is ninth in the MIAA with a .673 slugging percentage and tied for 10th with 10 home runs.
SCOUTING RSU: The No. 5 Hillcats are 36-7, 24-5 MIAA and are second in the league in batting average at .339 and lead the MIAA with a 4.33 team ERA. Outfielder Andres Contreras leads the RSU offense with a .397 average with five homers and 48 RBIs while right-hander Damon Anderson-Wolf is 8-0 with a 3.58 ERA and 26 strikeouts.
SCOUTING MW: The Griffons are 22-20, 15-14 MIAA after dropping their last three games. Infielder Miguel Cantu leads the Griffons at the plate with a .340 average to go with 10 homers and 51 RBIs.
THE SERIES: UAFS leads the all-time series against the Hillcats, 21-13, and is 3-4 against the Griffons.
