FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball will return to Crowder Field for a weekend series against Missouri Southern after playing 10 of its last 11 games on the road.
All three games Friday through Sunday will have a first pitch of 1 p.m. and will also be streamed on the MIAA Network and broadcast on Fox Sports Radio 103.5. Live stats will be available at uafortsmithlions.com.

LAST WEEK: UAFS battled against No. 8 Central Missouri before being swept by the Mules and then dropped a midweek contest at No. 15 Rogers State.
3: Outfielder JJ Young hit three homers in the finale at Central Missouri, the first Lion to hit three homers in a game since Logan Easley in 2019.
SLUG: Young ranks ninth in the MIAA with a .672 slugging percentage.
IN RELIEF: Eli Gilreath and Carter Phillips allowed just two hits over 6.2 innings in relief in game two at Central Missouri. Against Northeastern State, Gilreath retired 16 in a row over five-plus innings.
SCOUTING MSSU: The Lions are 16-11, 11-6 MIAA after having their seven-game win streak snapped Wednesday. Outfielder Brayden Luikart leads the Lions with a .415 average with nine homers and 25 RBIs while Owen Schneider sports a 2.64 ERA with a 5-0 record and 41 strikeouts on the mound.
THE SERIES: UAFS is 1-4 all-time against Missouri Southern. The teams split a doubleheader in 2015 while Missouri Southern won all three games last season.
