FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball has announced its 2026 schedule, with the season set to begin in just over a month.
It will be the second season in the MIAA for the Lions, who will play 48 regular season games, 36 of which will be against MIAA competition.
First pitch of the season is set for January 30 as the Lions host Southeastern Oklahoma State for a three-game series at Crowder Field.
UAFS will then play four games at Henderson State February 5-8, twice against the host Reddies along with games against Harding and Ouachita Baptist.
After a road game at Oklahoma Baptist and a road series at William Jewell, the Lions will open MIAA play at Crowder Field against Emporia State Feb. 20-22. UAFS will also play single games at home against Oklahoma Baptist and Henderson State to wrap up the nonconference schedule.
Remaining home series include Pittsburg State, Missouri Southern, Northwest Missouri State and Missouri Western.
The Lions' first road MIAA series will be March 6-8 at Fort Hays State with remaining road conference series at Newman, Central Missouri, Washburn and Central Oklahoma.
UAFS will have midweek series against Northeastern State and Rogers State.
The MIAA Tournament is slated for May 6-10 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
