FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball looks to build on its win from Tuesday as the Lions visit Northwest Missouri State to continue MIAA play.
Game one of the series starts at 3 p.m. Friday followed by game two at 2 p.m. Saturday. The series will conclude Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games will be streamed on the MIAA Network with live stats available at uafortsmithlions.com.

LAST WEEK: UAFS bounced back from getting swept at Missouri Southern with a 12-2 win over Northeastern State Tuesday.
A COMPLETE PAIR: Right-hander Chase Pair tossed a complete game in the win over Northeastern State, allowing two runs on four hits over seven innings while striking out five.
AT THE PLATE: Outfielder Cooper White ranks ninth in the MIAA in batting average at .378.
ON THE MOUND: Pitchers Grant Shankle and Brayden Ross are 1-2 in innings pitched, with Shankle at 44.1 and Ross at 41.1.
SCOUTING NWMSU: The Bearcats are 10-12, 4-6 MIAA and 5-1 at home. Northwest ranks 12th in the league in both batting average and ERA and is led at the plate by infielder Dylan Hufft, batting .356 with 23 RBIs. Brock Steggall has been the top arm for the Bearcats, posting a 3-1 record with a 3.32 ERA in six appearances over 21.2 innings.
THE SERIES: The Lions lead the all-time series with the Bearcats, 6-1, having won the last six contests.
