FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball goes back on the road this weekend as the Lions are set to visit Eastern New Mexico.
Predicted high winds in the forecast have shifted the series schedule, with the teams now slated to start the series with a doubleheader Friday starting at 3 p.m. central time. Single games will then be played Saturday and Sunday starting at 2 p.m.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: The Lions won game two of the series but dropped three of four games to No. 4 West Texas A&M at Crowder Field.
AT THE PLATE: Six Lions have driven in more than 20 runs this season, led by catcher Nico Patrick with 29. Dakota Peters leads the Lions with five homers, while outfielder Brandon Ulmer has a team-high .360 batting average.
ON THE MOUND: Six strong innings by pitcher Brayden Ross in the win over West Texas A&M has the hurler at 4-3 with a 3.37 ERA, second in the LSC.
IN A PINCH: UAFS is holding opposing pinch hitters to just a .167 batting average this season.
MULTIPLY: Patrick leads the Lions with 10 multi-RBI games and is tied with Ulmer with 12 multi-hit games.
SCOUTING ENMU: The Greyhounds have lost seven straight games and are 14-20, 12-20 LSC entering the weekend. ENMU ranks second to last in the LSC in fielding percentage, having committed 57 errors this season. Infielder Willie Ponce leads the Greyhounds at the plate with a .357 average, three home runs and 24 RBIs. On the mound, the Greyhounds have a team ERA above 7.00.
THE SERIES: UAFS has won four of the last six games in the series and leads all-time, 10-5. The Lions are 2-2 at ENMU.
