FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball travels to UT Permian Basin this week for its final Lone Star Conference regular season road trip.
With the threat of severe weather in the area for the weekend, the series has been moved up to a pair of doubleheaders on Thursday and Friday. First pitch is scheduled for noon each day.

SCOUTING UTPB: The Falcons sit just two games ahead of the Lions in the standings at 24-18, 22-18 LSC. The Falcons are fourth in the LSC in team batting average at .318, led by Ethan Flodstrom with a .385 average and a team-high 46 RBIs. On the mound, Jaden Wilcox has posted a 5-1 record with a 5.88 ERA in 52.0 innings pitched while Jalen Johnston has a 1.74 ERA in 20.2 innings out of the bullpen.
THE SERIES: The Lions lead the all-time series with the Falcons, 25-13, and have won six of the last nine meetings.
