FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball will look to get back on track when the Lions visit Texas A&M International for a four-game Lone Star Conference series.
Game one of the series is set for Friday at 2 p.m. followed by a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m. The series then concludes Sunday at 1 p.m.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: UAFS took on defending national champion Angelo State, winning game one before dropping the final three games of the series.
IN THE POLLS: The Lions are ranked seventh in the latest NCBWA South Central Region poll with 42 points.
ROAD WARRIORS: UAFS has scored 104 of its 141 runs on the road this season and is batting .370 away from home.
RISP: The Lions are batting .398 with runners in scoring position while limiting opponents to a .241 batting average with runners in scoring position.
AT THE PLATE: Outfielder Brandon Ulmer continues to lead the league with a .472 batting average. Infielder Noah Davis is fifth with a .429 average and leads the Lions with three homers and 22 RBIs.
ON THE MOUND: Reliever Luke Davenport has posted a 1.71 ERA and a 3-1 record through 21.0 innings pitched in seven appearances. Grant Shankle and Brayden Ross are also in the top 10 in the LSC in ERA in fourth and ninth, respectively.
SCOUTING TAMIU: The Dustdevils are 11-11, 11-9 LSC after splitting last weekend at UT Tyler. Infielder Abiam Medina is batting .421 with five home runs and a league-high 33 RBIs, while right-hander Isaac Ponce is 3-0 with a 1.88 ERA with 35 strikeouts in 28.2 innings.
THE SERIES: UAFS leads the all-time series, 33-16, over the Dustdevils. UAFS had won 11 of 12 games before the Dustdevils swept last year's series.
