FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball will face its second ranked foe of the season as No. 10 St. Edward's visits Crowder Field this weekend.
With rain pushing back the series, it will now start Saturday with a single game at 4Â p.m. A doubleheader will follow Sunday at 1 p.m. with the series wrapping up with a 1 p.m. game Monday.

LAST WEEK: UAFS won the final game of the series at Texas A&M-Kingsville after the Javelinas took the first three games.
MONDAY: This will be the second time this season the Lions have had a game moved to Monday due to weather. Both times have been at home.
AT THE PLATE: Infielder Matt Schilling leads the Lions with a .322 batting average and five homers, while outfielder Michael Brinton has a team-best 20 RBIs.
ON THE MOUND: Starter Brayden Johnson is second in the LSC with a 2.14 ERA and fifth with 51 strikeouts. Grant Shankle leads the Lions with three wins on the mound.
SCOUTING SEU: The No. 10 Hilltoppers sport a 19-6, 17-6 LSC record after taking three of four games against UT Tyler. Infielder Connor Cox leads SEU with a .429 average while catcher Cullen Ainsworth has a team-high nine homers and 39 RBIs. Left-handed pitcher Luke Short is 5-0 with a 2.57 ERA and 63 strikeouts on the mound for the Hilltoppers.
THE SERIES: St. Edward's leads the series, 32-17, but the teams have split the last 16 meetings dating back to 2018. Â
