FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball will embark on its final road trip of the regular season this weekend, visiting Oklahoma Christian for a four-game Lone Star Conference series.
With inclement weather in the forecast for later in the weekend, the series will now consist of a pair of doubleheaders Friday and Saturday. Friday's twinbill is slated to begin at 2 p.m. while Saturday's double dip will start at 1 p.m.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: UAFS was off last weekend after dropping three out of four to UT Tyler at Crowder Field the week prior.
WALK-OFF: All four of the Lions' home wins this season have been of the walk-off variety. Outfielder Hunter Church had the latest with a walk-off, two-run homer against UT Tyler.
LEADING AFTER 6: The Lions are 12-0 when leading after six innings but just 1-22 when trailing after the sixth inning.
AT THE PLATE: First baseman Nolan Riley has reached base in 27 consecutive games and leads the Lions with a .325 average while driving in 25 runs. Church leads the Lions with six homers while infielder Brooks Sunny has a team-high 37 RBIs.
SCOUTING OC: The Eagles are 19-26, 19-25 LSC entering the weekend. They had a seven-game win streak snapped last weekend by losing three of four against UT Tyler. Outfielder Tanner White leads the Eagles at the plate with a .299 average, nine homers and 31 RBIs. Jacob Mattox has been the top starter for OC, posting a 5.09 ERA over 35.1 innings with a 2-3 record and 33 strikeouts.
THE SERIES: UAFS leads the series with the Eagles, 18-16. However, Oklahoma Christian has won five of the last six games.
