FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Basketball looks to build on its two-game win streak as it returns to action at Gayle Kaundart Arena at the Stubblefield Center this weekend to host Dallas Baptist and UT Tyler.
The Lions will face DBU at 6 p.m. Friday and UT Tyler at 3 p.m. Sunday to tip off 2023.

NOTES:
LAST TIME OUT: UAFS snapped a four-game losing streak to Oklahoma Christian by downing the Eagles, 63-53.
LEAGUE LEADER: Guard Payton Brown continues to lead the league in scoring at 20.6 points per game. He also leads the league with 2.9 made threes per game.
DISHING IT OUT: UAFS is 6-1 when recording 10 or more assists. The only loss was in overtime against MSU-Denver.
RECORD WATCH: Guard Evan Anderson ranks fifth with 262 assists, six behind DaVaunta Thomas and eight behind Seth Youngblood. Anderson is seventh with 120 made threes.
THE SERIES: UAFS is 14-13 all-time against DBU and 3-2 versus UT Tyler.
SCOUTING DBU: The Patriots are 8-4, 3-1 LSC after dropping their previous game at Eastern New Mexico, which snapped a seven-game win streak. Three players score in double figures for DBU, led by guard Cameron Kahn at 12.2 points per game. DBU is second in the LSC in field goal percentage and third in three-point percentage at 47.0 and 36.2 percent, respectively.
SCOUTING UTT: The Patriots started the season 6-0 but lost their last two games before the break. Guard Rashun Williams leads UTT with 17.0 points per game while forward Milan Szabo averages 9.0 points and 7.4 rebounds. Â UTT leads the league in points allowed (59.8), opponent field goal percentage (39.4), opponent three-point percentage (25.3) and rebounds per game (39.3).
