FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball wraps up the home portion of its 2021 schedule this weekend as it hosts Oklahoma Christian at Crowder Field in Lone Star Conference action.
Due to weather, the games will be played Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will feature a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. with game two to follow, while Sunday's first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. A short senior day presentation will precede Sunday's contest.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: UAFS was off last weekend following a series at UT Tyler the previous weekend.
SENIOR DAY: UAFS will honor nine seniors prior to the first pitch of Sunday's game.
STREAKING: Second baseman Morgan Crenshaw has increased his hitting streak to 18 games, and has reached base safely in 20 consecutive games.
HOME SWEET HOME: UAFS is 8-4 this season at home entering its final home series. The Lions are just 4-11 outside of Crowder Field this season.
AT THE PLATE: Third baseman Brooks Sunny leads the Lions with a .318 batting average to go with five home runs and 19 RBIs. Catcher Dylan Hurt is batting .313 with a team-high 21 RBIs.
ON THE MOUND: Twins Jakob Petross and Lukas Petross continue to lead the Lions in ERA at 2.66 and 2.88, respectively. Left Nico Sharp has posted a 5-2 mark and 3.95 ERA over a team-high 41.0 innings.
SCOUTING OC: The Eagles enter the weekend fourth in the LSC with a record of 21-10, 18-9 LSC. They lead the league with 55 home runs and are second with 271 RBIs. Catcher Chance Westervelt leads the LSC in batting with a .446 average, while first baseman Michael DiFiore tops the LSC with 12 homers and second behind teammate Blake Empkey with 40 RBIs. On the mound, OC sports a 6.40 team ERA.
THE SERIES: UAFS leads the series, 17-14, with the Eagles. The teams have split the last six meetings, with Oklahoma Christian winning the last three.
