FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Volleyball continues its four-match road swing this week when the Lady Lions travel to Oklahoma Christian Tuesday and Wednesday.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: UAFS earned its fifth straight win and third consecutive sweep with a pair of wins at Cameron University.
WE MEET AGAIN: The Eagles and Lady Lions squared off earlier this season at the Stubblefield Center, with UAFS earning 3-1 and 3-0 victories.
STAYIN' ALIVE: UAFS is tied with Midwestern State in allowing the fewest kills per set at 10.04. Additionally, the Lady Lions boast the lowest opponent attack percentage in the league at .094.
KEEP SWINGING: UAFS had its best two matches offensively this season against Oklahoma Christian, hitting .345 and .356 in the two wins. UAFS has hit below .240 in the other four matches.
SINGLE DIGITS: Three times this season, the Lady Lions have held their opponents to single digits in a set win. They did it once each in the two earlier wins over the Eagles.

SCOUTING OC: The Eagles are 3-8, 2-6 LSC having lost six of their last seven matches. Sophomore outside hitter Caitlynne Hudgens leads the Eagles' attack with 62 kills, with freshman setter Spencer Plato averaging 4.66 assists per set. Defensively, freshman defensive specialist Alexandra Aponte Torres leads the back line with 3.21 digs per set, while freshman middle blocker Morgan Demuth averages 1.16 blocks per set.
THE SERIES: UAFS leads the series 2-0 after taking the first two matches between the schools on February 9-10. The Eagles are playing their first season of volleyball since 1983.
