After several months of preparation, both UAFS Cross Country teams are headed to Conway as the Lions and Lady Lions get to compete in the UCA Spring Opener track meet at 12 p.m. on Saturday at Bill Stephens Track Complex. 

Both men's and women's teams will compete in three events this weekend including the 3,000 meter run, 1,500 meter run and the 4x800 meter relay. All running events start at 12 p.m. 

This will be the second season UAFS Cross Country gets to compete in spring track meets. UAFS Cross Country will be represented by six runners on the women's team and eight runners on the men's team.
