FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Volleyball has announced the dates of its numerous summer camps.

UAFS will offer a Little Lions Camp, a College Prospect Camp, positional camps and a college prep clinic at the Stubblefield Center.

Positional camps are first on the schedule from June 2-4. Camp is for boys and girls in grades 6-12 from 4-6 p.m. each day. Cost of the camp is $50 per session with discounts for registering for multiple sessions.

Monday will focus on attacking and blocking, with Tuesday focusing on setting and Wednesday focusing on serving, passing and defense.

The Little Lions Camp is slated for June 9-11 for boys and girls in grades K-6. Cost for the camp is $60 with sessions running from 1-3 p.m. each day. The camp will teach the fundamentals of the game and include mini games.

The college prospect camp is set for June 11-13 and features overnight and day options. The camp is for boys and girls in grades 7-12 with a cost of $275 for an overnight camper and $225 for a day camper. Campers will be taught every volleyball skill, such as serving, passing, hitting, digging and blocking in great detail. Additionally, campers will have the opportunity for 6-on-6 reps focused on teamwork and offensive and defensive systems.

A college prep clinic will also be offered July 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for those in grades 9-12 looking to improve their skills and get a glimpse of collegiate-level training. Coaches will guide players through advanced drills and techniques.

Camps will be led by UAFS Hall of Fame Coach Jane Sargent and the UAFS coaching staff, as well as current players.
