FORT SMITH, Ark. – Four players scored in double figures as University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Basketball cruised to a 110-41 win over Hendrix College Thursday at the Stubblefield Center.
The 69-point margin of victory is the second largest of the NCAA II era after a 73-point win in 2011 versus Shepherd Tech.
After the Warriors scored the opening basket, the Lions went on an 11-0 run and never looked back. The Lions led 60-40 at halftime and led by as many as 74 with five minutes remaining.
Guard Zane Restelli led the Lions with 17 points while guard Aiden Buckmon added 16 points. Restelli and guard CJ Ford each led the Lions with five assists. Guard Jack Hoth contributed 15 points and guard Tyler Frederick 14.
UAFS shot 53.6 percent from three and 58.9 percent overall.
The Lions return to the court November 26 at 3 p.m. when they travel to Henderson State.
