Men's Basketball reveals 2025-26 schedule

FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Men's Basketball has announced its 28-game schedule that the Lions will play during the 2025-26 season. The Lions will play nine nonconference games and 19 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association contests.

The season tips off with the MIAA/GAC Challenge against Harding on November 14 followed by a contest against Ouachita Baptist at Skiatook High School in Oklahoma.

UAFS will host its home opener Nov. 18 against University of the Ozarks, which will also be the annual Toy Toss game. The Lions will then turn around and host Hendrix on Nov. 20. The final nonconference home game will be December 12 against Ecclesia College at Northside High School.

The Lions will visit Henderson State Nov. 26 and Drury on Dec. 21 in nonconference action as well as take part in the River City Classic Dec. 16-17, facing former Lone Star Conference foes Midwestern State and UT Permian Basin in San Antonio.

MIAA play begins with a pair of games in early Dec. on Dec. 2 at Northeastern State and Dec. 6 at Newman with the first home MIAA game slated for January 1 against Pittsburg State followed by a home game against Missouri Southern Jan. 3.

The first league game of the new year is Jan. 7 at Rogers State with a road game to follow Jan. 10 at Central Oklahoma. Remaining road contests include Missouri Southern, Pittsburg State, Washburn, Central Missouri, Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri State.

The final seven home opponents consist of Northeastern State, Newman, Emporia State, Nebraska-Kearney, Fort Hays State, Central Oklahoma and Rogers State.

The MIAA Tournament is slated for March 4-8 at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri.
