Cross Country reveals six-race slate for 2024

FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Cross Country will compete in six races this fall, four regular season races and two postseason races.

The Lions will run their first race of the season under the lights at the Rogers State Distance After Dark event on September 5. Two weeks later, UAFS will visit a familiar course, running in the Missouri Southern Stampede September 20.

UAFS then closes out September with the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville on September 28. To wrap up its regular season, the Lions will make their longest trip of the year to Huntsville, Alabama, for the UAH Chargers Invitational October 12.

Cross Country will be the first program to compete in an MIAA championship event this year, with the MIAA Championships slated for October 26.

The postseason then continues November 9 with the NCAA II Central Regional in Joplin, Missouri, the same course UAFS runs at the Missouri Southern Stampede.
