FORT SMITH, Ark. – Tanner Callahan came off the bench to provide a pair of hits for University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball Friday, but the Lions dropped the series opener, 4-2, at Crowder Field versus Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Callahan doubled to lead off the sixth but was left stranded and then had a one-out single in the eighth before Sammy Seeger pinch ran and came around to score the Lions' first run of the game. Infielder Jordon Helm brought in the Lions' second run with a sacrifice fly.
