FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Basketball returns home for the first of two back-to-back home weekends which will see them face Midwestern State and Cameron.

The Lions and Mustangs will square off Thursday at 7:30 p.m. with UAFS then taking on the Aggies at 3 p.m. Saturday. Both games will be streamed on the Lone Star Conference Digital Network and broadcast on Fox Sports Radio 103.5. Live stats will be available at uafortsmithlions.com.

NOTES:

LAST WEEK: The Lions came up short in a pair of road contests at St. Mary's and St. Edward's.

41: UAFS has pulled down at least 41 rebounds in three of their four wins this season and will be facing the top two offensive rebounding teams in the league this weekend.

RECORD WATCH: Guard Payton Brown is sixth with 1,060 career points and fifth with 148 made threes. Guard Cameron Bush is ninth with 168 assists and sixth with 86 steals.  

SCOUTING MSU: The Mustangs are 11-6, 5-6 LSC, having won four of their last five games. MSU is second in the LSC in total rebounding and leads the league with 13.9 offensive rebounds per game. Four Mustangs average double figures, led by guard Mason Gibson at 16.8 points per game.

SCOUTING CU: The Aggies are third in the league with 83.5 points per game while but are also last in allowing the same number of points defensively. Cameron enters the weekend 11-6, 7-4 LSC while on a three-game winning streak. Guard Jaylan Thomas leads the Aggies with 15.5 points per game while guard Lavell Brodnex is averaging 13.4 points and 6.2 rebounds for the Aggies.

THE SERIES: The Lions are 4-6 all-time against Midwestern State and 3-4 versus Cameron.
