FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Women's Tennis opened Lone Star Conference play Thursday versus Angelo State, where the Rams defeated the Lions, 7-0, at the Fort Smith Athletic Club.

The Lions battled against one of the top teams in the LSC but were unable to come away with the win.

LSC action continues for the Lions Friday at 1 p.m. as they host Texas A&M-Kingsville.
