FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Women's Tennis continued Lone Star Conference action Friday, dropping a 6-1 decision to Texas A&M-Kingsville at the Fort Smith Athletic Club.
After the Javelinas took both matches in doubles play, singles action featured a number of competitive matches.
Joanna Potet won set one, 6-3, before TAMUK won set two, 7-5. The tiebreaker came down to the wire before the Javelinas escaped with a 10-8 win in set three.
In another three-set match, Arianna De Bernardo captured a win at No. 3, 7-6, 4-6, 10-8.
The conference grind continues for the Lions Monday as they host Cameron at 1 p.m.
