FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Tennis dropped a pair of nonconference matches this week, falling 7-0 at Southeastern Oklahoma State and 6-1 at Harding.
At Southeastern Oklahoma State Tuesday, Bianca Koen and Joanna Potet teamed up for a 7-5 win at number one doubles.
Koen and Petra Csizmadia each had their singles matches go three sets against the Savage Storm. Koen battled to a 2-6, 6-2, 3-6 defeat at number one while Csizmadia dropped a 6-1, 0-6, 1-6 decision at number three.
Against No. 33 Harding, Camila Romero earned the lone point for UAFS with a 6-4, 6-2 win at number six singles. Chloe Ruppanner and Csizmadia paired up for a 6-3 win at number two doubles, as well.
UAFS returns home Saturday to host UT Tyler at 10 a.m. at the Fort Smith Athletic Club.
