DALLAS – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Tennis put up another strong effort Saturday at Dallas Baptist but dropped a 5-2 decision to the Patriots in Lone Star Conference play.

Petra Csizmadia capped a 2-0 singles week with a 6-4, 7-6 (5) win at number three. Jenny Zapien also claimed a singles win, defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-3 at number five. Bianca Koen went back-and-forth in her first set at number one singles before falling 7-5, 6-2.

DBU swept the three doubles matches and won at numbers two and three by a score of 6-4.

UAFS will play a pair of nonconference matches Tuesday and Wednesday at Southeastern Oklahoma State and Harding, respectively.
