WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Petra Csizmadia won the only point for University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Tennis Friday as the Lions were defeated, 6-1, in its Lone Star Conference opener at Midwestern State.

Csizmadia won in straight sets, 7-6 (8-6), 6-3 to earn the point at number three singles for UAFS.

UAFS had a pair of close losses at numbers two and six, with Joanna Potet battling before falling 7-5, 6-2 at the second flight while Camila Romero lost a 6-4, 7-5 decision at number six.

Midwestern State took all three doubles matches, with two of the scores ending 6-3.

The Lions are back at it tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Dallas Baptist.
